A lot of people need to learn the difference between hearing and listening, and need to work on their ability to do the second. It's like groundhogs day in here.

I think quite a few of us spend far less time in this thread than we used to because their isn't near as much value in here as their used to be. As far as searching goes all the info is there but you gotta read a lot to find it. I personally prefer searching for it. I tend to learn for more then if I just asked the question in here for the 100th time.

As far as @jberry813 goes he knows more than most of us combined about these trucks, and he learned most of it the old fashion way. You may not like the saltiness but he's generally spot on and all his knowledge was earned. I'll gladly let him point out how stupid my posts are cause when I have a question with legitimate merit he's the guy I'm gonna ask.

I see what you are talking about as this is how the classic TTORA days were in their desert section. Nothing wrong with listening...but was this always a "BS" thread or did it just get evolved into one? At the same time, one could argue that really there is nothing to be gained anymore outside of the guy who does some innovative new build on a kit, or goes full race style with a 6.5 kit with links or something.

    jberry is my hero.
but as im taking this new adventure on LT, reading through 3000 pages of crap is really not fun.
maybe im getting old and my searching isn't that great.
that link was really useful to me sent me right to very informational stuff. as a few other links have that jberry has posted in the past.
Its always easy to find good info once you have seen it before, it can be a pain in my neck to search for something I don't know. (if that makes any since).
Please forgive me now if I ask any ?'s in the near future that's been covered. I have thick skin, I can take being roasted. I could just blow up Jason's inbox, but that might not work out to well for me. lol

Legitimate question. Is there a way to search through one particular thread?

    yes.

While you're in a thread, go to the search bar. Click to type something in. If you look down on the popup you'll see a small box you can click that will say "Search this thread only".

As well as search this forum only

    and

    Display results as threads

Picked up my Advanced/Glassworks bedsides from the guys at Camburg today. They were actually ready within the 3 week time frame I was told, which is surprising for Advanced/Glassworks.

Some guy named Scott helped me and he was all,"Hey, I'm number 3." And I was all

    Anyways, that's my story.
