Just got my 05 DC back from the frame replacement. Had a bunch of stuff addressed while it was apart. Still have to sort the lack of lift in the new leaf springs but seems like a new truck. Only drove it back from dealer that was out of town but felt the improvements pretty quick.
Just a few photos of what failed mine. Located front passenger side at the cab mount.

    Cheers

Spoke to my dealer last visit about frame replacement. They told me they have heard nothing yet. Now I'm more confused I have the postcard my vin says I should be eligible . Even spoke to an 2006 owner who just had it done at a dealer 30 min south of me. Want to put a lift on and start doing mods but don't want to waste money if frame is bad! Any thoughts or ideas on how to move forward? Thanks south jersey

Had the exact situation with my dealer. I called Toyota Customer Experience and they immediately got in touch with my local dealer personally to schedule an inspection.

My frame passed but there is a ton of rust chunking off. I’m going to get under it and go over with a fine tooth comb. I guess I have 12 years from 4/21/07 so 4/21/19 is my warranty date cut off. I want all the new stuff!! Don’t want this ticking time bomb!!

IMG_2486.jpg Well I checked what I could for today. The famous spot by the cats is in what seems ok condition. Crc compound is thick and heavy there. My frame rails are looking bad. I looked for the separating and found this. Very soon I will look more and take better pictures.

I am being asked to pay $600 for hardware and additional parts which might break during frame replacement as a contingency of them working on the vehicle.

Am I having trouble understanding this? :
If any perforation in the frame is found to be 10 mm or larger, then the
frame will be replaced, as well as all applicable parts and service items
    incidental to frame replacement.

Your dealer is trying to rip you off. Go to a different dealer. Any parts that break because of the frame being replaced is Toyota's problem, not yours.
