Anybody on here own a boat ? I read somewhere you have to have a boating license. I'm inheriting my dads small aluminum boat. He only used it to get out to his big boat that was on a mooring . I'd like to get it in the water this year to go fishing with my son.

Yepp, What size motor is on it? thats the deciding factor, however getting your license is super easy now, take an online course, pass, show up and take a test and pass, you have it for life...

    Mandatory Boating Education

New Hampshire has a mandatory boating education law. Everyone 16 years of age and older who operates a motorboat over 25 horsepower on New Hampshire waters must have a boating education certificate.

New Hampshire accepts the following boating education certificates:

    1. A boating certificate issued by another State agency and NASBLA approved.
    2. A boating certificate issued by the US Power Squadron.
    3. A boating certificate issued by the US Coast Guard Auxiliary.
    4. An unexpired commercial boating license issued by the US Coast Guard.
    5. An unexpired commercial boating license issued by the State of New Hampshire.
If you wish to operate a motorboat on New Hampshire waters and you do not have any of the above certificates, please sign up for one of our classroom courses listed below. The State proctored examination is included with the classroom course and is given during the last hour of the class.

Looks like I'm the first posting from Conway. I'm a native and feel lucky to say that. No pictures of my silver 08 DC w/ cap. Only mod so far is 2017 OR wheels. Got the truck a month or so ago and I've been busy just tiding things up. New brakes, some electrical work, and now upper and lower control arms because the ball joint went and it is easier to just replace the arms.

I couldn't find an NH thread lol I need my 603 Taco folks.

I have a stock 2012 TRD. Is it worth a leveling kit if i'm only going to add a lift eventually? I have the taco lean like no othah. 1 inch compared to my passenger side.

I'm from Maine originally. Bought a house in Allenstown, NH a little over a year ago.

I personally wouldn't waste the money or the time if you are planning on doing a lift.

Leveling kits are pretty darn cheap, few hundred if that. So if that's worth it to you just to hold you over until you get more down the road id say go for it.. Many would say just save up and get what you really want the first time.. I can see that logic as well..
