A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
Really not weird when you consider they are adding the suite of "safety-sense" features. This is a complex system that they are adding. We know as we have had these features on our 15 Subaru OB for almost 3 yrs.

Eh when they have had as much experience on almost all other Toyota vehicles one wouldn’t expect them to have this many hiccups but maybe I’m wrong.

dude, I can't even remember when I didn't have a damn payment! :D Every friggin time
    I get close, I trade, it's a sickness! :D When I traded in my 2011 on this one I had 4
payments left! With that trade I was at about 25k for the loan, made a few xtra payments
so that helped a lot. Trading this one will put me right back to that amount AGAIN! so I'm
still trying to wrap my head around this for not much more than a different color & no miles.

Sounds like you need to look into leasing. For those who change vehicles like others change socks you get all the fun of a new vehicle without the high monthly payments. Ask me how I know.

It's also impossible to get info on the '18 Sienna and 86. My mother in law is also waiting for a '18 Sienna.

I've tried :) my brain just won't let me, feels like it's not really
mine and would prevent me from doing any modding.

lol so true! Just hearing that what I have will only get me 28k is likely
the deal breaker for me....2016 Black DCSB 4x4 TRD Sport Loaded! +6k in mods

The new one would cost me a solid 20k+ for no miles, color change & leather.

My plan is to lease a 2018. If there are still bugs I can rest easy knowing I only have to deal for 2 years. If no bugs, I'll start modding it and buy it when the lease is up.

...That's the 'plan'. In reality I'll probably mod it and still trade up in a few years. ug.

It's nice to know that there are others that like to trade up every now and then lol. I had my 08 Taco for 8 years before trading it on my 2016. That was 5 years longer than any other vehicle I had. I was planning to wait until next year to see what it would cost to trade, but with the changes to the 2018, it looks like it's going to cost a lot more than the 2017. I don't really care about the TSS stuff or the leather seats, so I'm not thrilled about having to pay more for them to get what I want. I may see if I can find a 2017 like I want. I've had my 2016 for 2 years, so I don't really need to trade, but I probably should have gotten 4wd from the get go. Oh well.

If any of you guys that ordered a 2018 get pricing info, please share!

Looks like a little bit of the 2011 grill they had for that one year. The honeycomb style. I had one and liked it. The bar in the middle is wider, but still favors it some.

Ouch! You must really want that cement color. $28k trade in value! I would sell that truck privately on Craigslist or Car Gurus and with the mods you have on it, it will be more attractive to the private buyer. Dealerships don’t care about your mods and will only offer the wholesale auction price for your truck (stock).

well I got a 2016 Colorado diesel crew z71 and has 47k miles on it with leather and bose system. My trade value is 28k too. I no the pain but I trade every 2 normally due to my 35k miles a year I put on. I got this truck in Mar 16 and hoping to get 18 Tacoma by dec so ill be little less than 22 this time but at least 2 model years which is ok. all my miles I put on you cant catch it and might as well trade every 2 years

    Hey Folks,

Got a call about my 2018 Pro order today. I'm not sure what to think about it. Apparently, they (GST) are now asking dealers to provide specific customer information/intent with every PRO order. I figured having my earnest money would have been enough? They claim they have some dealers in Dallas and Houston abusing the system and ordering under fake customer information and marking them up an extra 4-5K on the lot. I think this is just a GST thing, but I'd like to hear if it's the same in other territories. I've attached the form they want me to sign with the "expected" pricing as well as the brief conversation we had after the call.

    2017 MSRP:

    7598 - 2017 Tacoma 4x4 TRD Pro Double Cab 6AT $43,215

    2018 "Projected" MSRP:

    7598 - 2018 Tacoma 4x4 TRD Pro Double Cab 6AT $44,868

We have a '16 sienna and I heard that was a short production year. I love the looks of the current, "long-in-the-tooth" sienna but I understand it's design is pretty old and it needs a refresh!
