hey guys I recently installed the CaliRaised light bar and I’m having some issues with the wiring for the CH4x4 switch. I connected the included harness from the light bar to the CH4x4 switch as follows:
    Black to black
    White to green/yellow
Blue to red/yellow (closest to green/yellow)
Last red/yellow from CH4x4 switch to add a line connector which I connected to the 5amp fuse for the dash lights.

My problem is the truck icon light never turns off. The switch works properly in that it turns the light bar on and off but no matter what the icon indicator never turns off. The text below the icon seems to work properly. When I turn the truck lights on it comes on. When I turn the truck lights off the text turns off. The truck is completely off but the truck icon light is still on. Did I wire it incorrectly? Is it a bad switch? Any help or explanation would be greatly appreciated.

    TIA

I have the same problem, installed mine two weeks ago. Truck hasn't ran out of battery yet.

Is it supposed to stay on? I thought it turned off if the truck was off?

Definitely not supposed to be this way. I am going to look into mine tomorrow, would imagine the problem lies on the switch side.

You're hard wiring it straight to the battery. Obviously it's going to stay on. There's nothing wrong with the switch.

If you turn the headlights completely off then it should turn off. I spliced my wire to the "illuminate" cargo switch right next to it. Also you should have the relay powered with the parking lights so the bar will turn off automatically if you accidentally leave it on.

The Caliraised wiring harness connects directly to the battery, so basically it is always hot. Does your light bar turn on with the truck turned off when you flip the switch?

Switch what the white and blue wires are connected to and see if that works. I had the same issue last week and that fixed it.

It should always be hot, but it shouldn't always be lit.

It should still only light up when pushed in.

I REALLY wish someone would make a simple single LED, three wire switch that was OEM styled.

All these ditch light and bar harnesses are completely random colors it seems and it's a major PITA.

Sounds like your wire harness is like mine. White is power to switch and blue is trigger to relay. On this harness cut the white and hook the switch side to an ignition on fuse in box using an add-a-tap. The way these harness are wired they get power to switch off the relay.

I just posted a related question. I looks like in your video you may have both your light bar and ditch lights hooked into the same add a fuse. Is that the case? Would you consider adding a third to the same add a fuse. Any risk?

In a similar situation here - I have two CH4x4 rocker switches installed for a dual function LED light bar, and everything about the switches functions properly except for the text not lighting up. Light within the switch for the logo turns on when activated, and lightbar activates just fine, but the text beneath the logo doesn’t ever turn on.

Where can I tap into, or add a fuse for two rocker switches to have the text light up when the car is on? I also have an ARB rocker switch that functions perfectly all around. Can I tap into the wire that the ARB switch uses for constant power?
