Gotta get a radiator, driveshaft, fuel pump and lines, and then wired up to run stock ECU on stock NA motor.


Once it's turn key ready, I'll go thru the brakes and suspension and little stuff.

Then once it drives straight and is halfass reliable, standalone and turbo time.

 

Bruhhhhhhhhh. Motec ECU's are expensive lol. Talking to a dude who builds supras in Houston (like billet 2j blocks) that make 2,000+hp. He said the ECU that they use is $6,000-$10,000 just the ECU and then $2,500 for the harness. Like holy shit lol

What he said. ^^^ What that guy didn't tell you is that with the Motec EMS's, is that for each additional feature you want, you have to pay to have it unlocked. That price climbs quickly. There is a reason only the wealthiest car owners or teams use Motec. On the positive side, their engineers are second to none, and their equipment is king of the hill.

A Haltech Elite will cost a fraction, and a plug n play harness from www.boomslang.com will be between $500-$700.

Or get the Haltech complete 2JZ harness for a price I am not sure of but tend to remember it being around the same ballpark as the Boomslang.

Cool thing about the Haltech Elite, is that they have done such extensive work with them that they already have a basemap in there.

Nah I've been pretty good about quality parts and stuff so far not gonna lie. I should've just went ahead and got a Supra shell and built this bitch right but its gonna be a cool truck.

I'm probably gonna look for roller mk4's sometime next year and just swap everything into it
