I like having the parking brakes. The backup lights are pretty nice to have too now that I have a seven pin plug.

    Ok fuckers.
Made sure I was in 2WD, shut off engine and I pulled the actuator and it came out with the fork and collar disengaged ( collar/fork away from diff)

I then checked to see if the actuator fork moved back and fork when I switch to 4WD

Collar manually moved to 4WD (diff side)
    IMG_1191.jpg

When in this position, and front locked, the two rear and front DS rotate under power.
The PS side remains free wheeling.

Also, when I rotate the PS tire, the internal gears and collar visible through the ADD hole also rotates. I think this eliminates the tube as an issue.

    What next?

Okay so Looks like the stub shaft is fine. And you say when in the engaged 4wd position turning the passenger tire you can see everything move through the add hole. Could it be possible that the stub shaft wasn't fully seated into the diff and therefore not fully engaged in the splines of the carrier?

It looks like it can't really go in any further though:confused: I hate to say it but could there be a defect with the air locker itself:notsure:

I can see it and feel it move when I put my finger on the gears and collar.

I don't think it can move any further. Aside from pushing on it with my finger, is there any other way to check?

Air locker works because that's the only way I can get the front DS to rotate under power. If I disengage the front locker, then nothing in front rotates.

Out of curiosity, does the passenger side ever engage? Where I'm going is does the actuator ever lock the shaft, and do so, is the locked shaft connected to the wheel, or is there an issue with the cv or the intermediate shaft?

Already did that while I was trembling in fear underneath the truck while my daughter hit the air locker button. I couldn't see anything move either way. Only thing visible was the DS tire start to move while the air locker engaged.

The air locker mechanism is all internal you won't see that move. What about when you manually slide the collar over by hand to the "4wd" position then engage the locker doe the pass side then turn? Also while in that scenario look into the add hole and see if anything there is spinning and report back please

Ok. Dumb question. Did you pull the stub shaft from your old clamshell before you sent it to ECGS?
