    Made it from west of Houston, to the west side of El Paso today.
    Taco struggled a little climbing the bigger hills, but overall performed like a champ!
    Lots of cars and trucks broken down along the way, and it's a lot of miles between gas stations out there. ...

    The last time I was through there was in the 90s. It was the same way then. Makes you wonder what they do with the fed grants for roads. Same with SC in places.

    Safe travels. My Mom and Dad are on their way back to the central coast from North Carolina. They flew back so my Dad could pick up a truck loaded with my cousins race car and drive it back. Talked to them last night and they were in Oklahoma near the Texas border. Both are retired and my Mom decided to go along. Not sure she knew what she was in for: cross country drive in a bouncy truck!
