Nothing too exciting, but chrome is no more after a few cans of plastidip.D42FC0C7-8503-4E8B-8F9A-F35897C454EB.jpg C680ADF6-7A29-4472-92A2-221005609E0F.jpg

It took about 5 minutes. Two plastic pins and two screws, then just pop the clips out. Replace in the reverse order. Really easy and straight forward.

    Not much so far
How did you paint your wheels? I'm debating on doing mine on my white dcsb.

I got new tires, had some relatively bald dick cepek ATs that were poorly balanced. Got the BFG rugged terrains from Walmart. 265 70 R17. Really like the look of them and they felt so much better driving around town today

So what I did was take painters tape and wrapped around each lug nut and valve stem. For each wheel, I took 3 plastic grocery bags and stretched them out behind the spokes but in front of the calipers, rotors, and drums. I did not take the wheels off or worry about over spray on the tires. Honestly overspray on the tires was minimal and almost unnoticeable. I sprayed each wheel with several coats, then rolled my truck forward slightly and put several more coats on. I waited too long before taking the plastic bags from behind the wheels. When I pulled them out, it pulled up a little spot of plastidip on the front wheel. I’ll have to fix that spot before too long. Hope this helps.

Here’s a link I referred to before I did mine. I didn’t use the cards though.

The same shit everyone else has.
    Cab rack progress.

Rhino Rack cross bars trimmed to length. Cab rack cross bars trimmed to length. 2 outside bars bolted in place an other 2 mocked up. Test fit up on the roof for mounting ideas.

Happy with the length, but not 100% sold on the width of the rack. the load bards are 52". The width of the bars lets me mount the rack so the cross bars are the same height as Rhino Rack bars. I may narrow them, but then the rack will have to sit on top of the Rhino Rack load bars.

I need to stare at it in the day light

I should have it done this weekend.

Did the grill, and headlights, literally took a half hour. I think it looks great, gives the truck a new look. Now I am contemplating taking off the bug guard..

Quick wash and detail. Also installed dash cam. The way ppl drive around here and the amount of insurance scams it’s $100 and an hour well spent.CE3387EF-B214-4A66-BBAC-C7C78D532243.jpg8053D4E5-3F84-4F14-BC39-212F69007B58.jpg

Actually installed it couple days ago. So far pretty happy with it. The only thing I need is CPL filter to minimize the glare.
