After weeks of reading and asking around I finally picked a set of tires. I went with GY Duratracs, 285/75/16. So far I'm really impressed with these rubbers. Not to loud, smooth riding and they look great on my taco! I also used Discount tire and couldn't be happier with them! They had the best price(by $150!) and also swapped my spare with the best KO tire(the tires I replaced). My spare was 265. They also cut the tabs and remounted my spare under the truck(free of charge!). Next is front and rear bumpers, let the madness begin. Thanks TW, you guys are a wealth of knowledge!

Sharp! Duratracs are definitely my next set. Heard nothing but good things about them.

3 out 4 of my four wheel drives have duratracs. So far they've been good to me. Of the tires I've tried through the years they seem to have the best off road traction coupled with on road manners that I've had. Usually you're giving up one to get the other, but a good middle ground is nice to have.

Hockey pucks. RevTek up front with 5100s. Aluminum block on rear. I would like to replace them with an actual lift kit one day.

Love mine. Found out my gas mileage is best when they're aired to about 42 lbs. Seriously was losing 1-2 mpg when Discount Tires put them at 35 after my last rotation (I knew better too, my bad...Discount will air them to whatever you tell them too). As long as you rotate them every 5000 they will last a good long time. They can be difficult to balance but Discount knows this and is really good at it.

That is a great looking rig btw.

Nice! Nothing wrong with that. Looks great! No wheel spacers needed with the aftermarket wheels?

Good overall choice in tires. I've got a couple of them I throw on the rear for a little extra bite in the snow when I need it. They're just about as good in deep snow as a dedicated snow tire.

What size tires are those? I'm looking at putting bigger tires on my 13' and don't want to buy new wheels. I actually like the sport wheels. Plus, if I screw one up on the trail, I can find a set on craigslist for under $200.
