What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Trail gear on Light bar hoop to come and yellow skid plate may be going to black.. kinda like it kinda dont. Retrofits might be opened up and turned to black too... dunno. Also piked up a rear all pro bumper powder coated for $340 local

 

I think the yellow skid would look better if your truck was black

Might color match it. Probably not. Black is easier

 

When my truck was white I painted my skid white. It didn't look to bad.

 

Yeah that is my thinking that it will look pretty good! Breaks up the black blob under the truck. But lunar mist is a bitch and expensive and illusive round here so we will see

 

Yea it's not very rough to find white paint.

I had took off my Toyota CVs to reboot them and put on some cheap Auto Zone CVs lesson learned. Toyota CVs going back on soon as I get home

driver side balljoints replaced and outer tie rod too since I busted that bitch.

Aftermarket is probably ok, that OEM bearing is pretty expensive.

For projectors I just have the cheap ACME H1 and panamera shrouds from TRS. Work fantastic though, way good for the money

Filler plates by @Whitecloud. So much better than having it be open! There is so much open space without them and it would've bugged me. Now I have a place to set my beer while camping

 

I'm getting ready to swap a manual trans in my DC, I know I need to shorten or swap the drive shaft. Anyone know if it's the front ds going from transfer case to front diff or the front or rear portion of the rear drive shaft. I've been getting mixed results from all the old threads on ttora and customtacos.

 

I always thought it was lengthen the rear and shorten the front. Check @SafetyDang swap thread, he has one on iH8Mud too and I think it says

 

Or if someone can get me measurements off an access cab 4x4 manual I'd appreciate it.

 

Yes go oem, don't cheap out on these kind of parts. Got a good deal on an open box or carrier bearing for 124
