So if sliding the collar either direction does not lock the ADD shaft to the stub shaft, wtf did you do to screw that up?

Apparently, with the valuable help of some good peeps here, my super-sleuthing and troubleshooting has proven that I did not screw up anything.
    1. Actuator internals cleaned, connections soldered, re-greased and assembled correctly and electrical checks- perfect.
    2. Installation of ADD and Actuator fork double and triple checked during re-installation. Actuator fork inserted fully into collar channel.
    3. Passenger side CV Axle/Axle Tube/Stub Shaft/Actuator Collar is whole. Proven by rotating DS Tire and stub shaft/Collar rotates at same time.
    4. T-Case spins when 4WD is engaged.

Me thinks there is something wrong wth the new diff.

Because I don't have the answers. And Fabio doesn't have the answers.
We're hoping you or someone else have the answers.

Unfortunately, it looks like you'll have to pull that tube and look.

I honestly don't know if you can bolt the tube to the Diff if the stub shaft isn't clipped in properly.

It seems like you wouldn't be able to manually slide the collar all the way over if the stub shaft wasn't clipped in. BUT, like I said, I don't know.

I know for a fact, however, that you can quite easily bolt the tube back on if you forget to put the stub shaft back INTO the Diff :anonymous:

The stub shaft either needs to be fully seated in the clam or missing entirely for the tube to bolt on.

The stub shaft is present and accounted for.

So then it must be seated properly, because the ADD Tube is bolted on.

I had to reassemble my spare shaft into the tube. With it fully seated you cannot see the stub shaft through the ADD hole. You are only able to see the splined end of the ADD shaft.

Leave the diff in place, pull the ADD tube, and verify that the stub shaft is installed and is engaged in the carrier.
If it is in place, yet it does not move when the front driveshadt is spun, then that means that the ARB carrier side gear is FUBAR.

It's inside the carrier not the add tube. You have to take it out of the old diff clam and put it into the new one.

The only was to know for sure if it's in there it to take the add tube off. The spines you see in the add hole are from the intermediate shaft. The stub is fully in the diff

That's the only way to know for sure. And if the stub is in there the air locker is defective but I feel if that was the case there would be some noise

This is fucked up. This thing is so damn simple. It should just work. I'm sticking around just out of curiosity.
