*THE RTT Owners Thread (With BS)*

Well.. I'm excited to announce that I have joined the RTT owners club. Bought a Tepui Kukenam Sky 3 in gray from REI. Got it for a price I couldn't resist. Hopefully is delivered soon!

Awesome! The rain fly is a dark blue right?

 

I honestly didn't even look at it. Its really dark could be black maybe dark navy. Just too excited on this thing

 

I don't blame you! Yours is the 3 person? If so, how's the space inside??

 

Yeah, its really nice. Its only the wife and I but I could easily throw the dog up there but it still wouldn't be bad. Shes a 45lb husky so a medium sized dog

 

Ya, it's just me and the wife as well so that's good to hear. I can't wait to get mine

 

I wish mine was new, its always fun unpacking stuff. Like Christmas! but the deal on I got on this thing is just ridiculous.

Has anybody made their own wind deflector for cab high mounted rtts? I'm thinking of making my own but would like some pictures for reference.

 

I thought about it, but with mine up top I honestly don't really notice a difference. Except when it's windy.

 

I noticed it, so did my MPG. I was fine with 12.6 but once it starts getting under 10 I need to rethink some things.

 

Oh man that's bad. With all my stuff I'm at 13, which I can live with.

 

so I am expecting under 10, when I go to 35s? I think Im at 14 now

 

You have completely different setup. 2nd gen, 4.0 (blown) with 456's, rear HC bumper and manual. Weights should be close but you also have a slimmer RTT. I think you'll be getting better. But who knows
