Though I may start to scout it out though, cause I'd like my truck to be more of an overland truck than a wheeler

Thats the reason for starting small and putting yourself in certain situations to prepare for those types of trips. Got to learn the rig and need to know what it can and can't conquer.

Except speed of course, but depending on how it is, I'd like to be able to finish my trip lol

Ummm, i think your winch in front kind of fixes that. With it I wouldn't have needed to be towed up that one section, I could have pulled myself up. More satisfaction in that than being towed. Lol

True, I just need one of those anchor things for when there's no trees or rocks, but I think where I want to go they'll be plenty, plus I'm pretty sure all the nice places are actually pretty easy to get to

2nd that, mod days are way to uncommon, and I've already put, coilovers in, rear shock, UCAs, lights, bumpers, regular maintenance, and now a winch, so pretty much every except heavy engine jobs

There are other ways to use it also, one way by using a sand bag or a trasharoo bag connected to a snatch strap and a very larger hole in the ground.
