Tacoma - OVTUNE - VFTUNER - Update Info and Original Development

I requested 1.01b about 4 or 5 days ago after hearing the feedback compared to 1.02b. Waiting for the email to just load it up and see if it's any better, although I am not unhappy with the one I'm running now. Or may see 1.02C Sunday and forget about asking for 1.01b again.

1.01b is the only one I tried and love it. I really like driving my truck now.

 

Crap, I own both..... I guess i'm just average then.

I suspect getting everything set up for hundreds of emails/attachments is very time consuming to get right..

So this tune...

I have a 2016 auto trans. I ran an SSP for a while then regeared my truck. With 37's and 4.88's I felt I could do a better job manually shifting. Semi enjoyable so far.

Installed a pedal commander to improve throttle response. That helped but I feel like something is missing still. I don't like the truck without the pedal commander, but feel like it isn't near perfect yet.

I've been in this thread since the beginning. Almost jumped in on the very first versions but barley missed the cut off. I'm not even remotely close to being new with tunes, I have a few turbo cars that needed the tune.

Every week or so I jump in here and read a few pages. I can't tell if I should get the tune or not. So many versions. Some people seem to have issues. Some don't.

So those of you with the tune and drive an an auto (sorry manual guys I'm jealous you Han a better trans config but I'm more interested in auto guys) is it worth it to get now or keep waiting?

 

Get it now, all the updates and improvements are free to you as he releases them. You can enjoy the tunes that are available and when something new comes to light, you can give your review & be another voice in it's development. Also as far as I can remember anyone who had any issues with tunes Matt was able to fix I believe.

Must be aggravating as hell, I get it. Just keep in mind that Mat will have to jump back to V6 M/T tuning once he gets one to play with. A bunch of us have already paid good money and want to see this through (obviously).
