What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

According to the tracking info he sent mine was suppose to arrive on Oct. 11th and I got it 4 days early. Hopefully yours will arrive early as well. You'll like it, very nice quality. When you have your arm on the armrest the shift knob is about the same height when its in drive.

Got to take my truck on the Toyota off road track at the dirt&donuts event yesterday. Found a spot to get my rear tire at max droop and had to get a pic

you will like the prefilter, i think its the best on market with the research i did. you can hear the turbines working lol

i got it because i wanted to find less crud in my intake on trips when i pulled the filter.

Nice job. I had to get rid of my 48 for a 60 since it couldn't lift the back of my truck. While using them offroad, the extra 12" is welcome.

 

First time I saw it was on my first wheeling trip with @tacoma16. He spoke highly about it. I also didn't like how the scoop looked like a rain trap. Thanks again for your write up.

 

yeah even the traditional scoops with outlets for rain doesnt stop everything, my buddy who has the large arb ones said the same. Both didnt stop fine stuff from getting to filter even with a mesh.

This is exactly why I got it. Plus with our winters I have scene some snorkels get filled with snow. I run the enginaire all year. Doesn’t really affect mileage that I can see. It does look like a popcorn maker but function over form.

Great question, but I really don't know. Truck has about 44k on it.

 

No sir not on my green truck. I relocated the spare because i have my dual battery welded onto the receiver hitch. When i go on long trips and im in my 6spd, i typically put the hitchgate on that truck and carry an extra spare though.
