Negative. Take it from someone who had to get winched out of a mudhole up to the doors yesterday.

 

Lol naw. But they are not a very off road worthy vehicle. The intakes are ram air so splash water on your hood u hydrolock. They dont have any ground clearance and the underneath had way to many wires and important stuff that if it were to get crushed or cut well im sure you know what a CAN system is so they no go if you hit the right harness. There just big squishy suburbia vehicle for soccer moms and business men. Now the g wagon or the first gen ML, those are some offroad monsters.

Any ideas on if they'll try to make the new pickup over here? I can't remember if that was going to be in our market or not.

 

Right now no. Just Europe and south america. But im sure it will make its way here eventually. And that fucker is incredible. From the sounds of it its even better than the g wagon off road and has an awesome load rating. The press release looked very good for it.

 

Oh and the best part is its actually a truck. Ladder frame and live rear axle.

 

I'm not sure what the price point is. It's one thing if you're loaded and can armor the thing up like people do with the G wagons. It wouldn't phase me to buy one and use it. Lol

But...let's be realistic. Americans are either too poor to buy them or won't trust a Mercedes to be an off-roader.
