Need tail light guard

ChasVS posted guards he taped on his Tacoma. Where can I get a pair??

 

Ebay has them. I got a pair last year and took a few weeks looking at them, went to install them and couldn t do it. They looked to cheesy for me. Off they went to the recycling bin.

 

Do they offer any actual protection? I don’t see it but I may be wrong. However I do agree with you that they look horrible.

 

Plastic sick-ons are not my first choice, but I need something to give at least a little protection against swinging kayaks loading onto the cargo bed.

 

You will need to protect that plastic stick-on bumper too!

I'm keeping mine for now, waiting for someone to tap mine and give me a new plate bumper one day .

No protection, but you do get 4-5MPG increase due to the added vortex generators.

 

Just buy a second set of tails for ~$100 and replace yours when they get too beat up.

 

Tails? I guess that's the way to go. Need to get over the urge to buy something every time a (possible) need arises.

i am only seeing about a 3MPG increase but i am running 33's

 

If you color match them, an additional mpg is possible

 

Did you end up fabricating any metal ones?
