Just the plain rear armor bumper with the hidden hitch. no add ons, no holes cut for flush mounts( I can do that myself), no high clearance(I ain't cutting my bedsides), no jerry can holders or spare tire mount( I don't like the looks of it back there, plus they mount in my bed), no powdercoat(gonna color match the truck with either Line-X, or pyrite mica powdercoat at USA Coatings here in Front Royal.

Not going for the full-on "EXPO" look, just want it to off-road well when I want it to. I'm probably too old to be regularly "EXPO-ing."

Yeah, I did. The wife wanted me to get it done as fast as possible, so I just went with that. The truck got dropped off by her.

    More of the scheduling issue...

Must be nice to have a flexible schedule and no other time robbing activities.

Stock as Fuck or Not Fucking Stock
Warno - If the shoe fits wear it if you have to ask "Is he talking about me" is in full effect for this post.

Boy - Don't know why everyone is pissing in everyone's cornflakes these days, but last I checked, for the most part everyone is a bunch of grown ass men in here (whether they act like it or not, is a different discussion) But I would think if someone wants to do something to their truck, its their prerogative.

Everyone has their own priorities and responsibilities, its one thing to talk shit and joke, its another to be a fucking elitist asshole about the whole thing. I thought this thread was supposed to be about getting together locally, modding, talk taco's and other random shit (like guns, subbies etc) It seems the last couple weeks it has been more of a "who can take a jab at someone over what they do to their truck" or how "legit" are they. If this is where you have to get validation in life, then I suggest you reevaluate yourself, do some soul searching and un-fuck yourself in the process. Majority of guys in here have families, military, ex-military, have been around the world and back, have the scars, medals, and bruises to prove it.

Stop being a keyboard gangsta, move the fuck on.

    *end rant*

You guys have any suggestions on off-road speciality shops in the area. (Lift installs, alignments for trucks with after market suspensions, light bar install/electrical, etc)?

Nice to see this being said. I know I have a rig that hasn't seen a lot of love lately due to a dead cv. That being said, many in this area are here for a reason in northern va, unless the hustle and bustle of traffic gets your noodle off. Many have competitive jobs, family, other things in life to take care of besides their vehicle. I speak from being a single guy here, but most of us have lives that have demands on us. It's just how the world works for the average 30+ year old. I know I plan to get to some more fun spots after I get my cv back soon, but honestly some of the guys on here act like rolling out and camping in some overlanding adventure makes them better than others? Big whoop man, you bought similar shit as the rest of us, yet chose to stay stinky in the bush on more weekends. Cool. Most of us have friends that steer us in different directions depending on the weekend...compared to some who simply lack friends. Sorry if this is forward to some who think I am talking about them, but it's this bullshit elitist attitude that never seems to die up here. I know some just don't get it no matter how many times you reiterate the same topics, but it's sad that they have nothing else better to do then just keep the shit flowing.

    Peacing out.
