    Check ur air filter. The dirtier the bigger the hit to mpg. But these aren't prius, figure about 16mpg around town. Less if you have a shell.I lost less the 2 mpg with my shell, but totally worth it.

    You could search on this forum for the answer. There are about 1000 or so threads on mileage. But as other said, we’re not driving prius here. 16 mpg if you’re luck, I’m in the 13mpg in the city camp.

    The best thing to save mileage is just to drive slower. Spark plugs won’t do it

    I would also suggest creating a title with the main subject of the question you are posing.

    It's no shit, I've seen it on my kids cars. Car had crap get up and go, popped out filter and it was solid. If it can't breathe it don't run.

    Keep everything stock and in good running order - there's nothing more you can do. 87 octane is just as good as premium since these are low compression engines. Regular oil changes and basic maintenance will help you to get the best gas mileage.
