Dude, I had Sabra and flatbread for lunch. Don't mess with my hummus.:quickdraw:

The wife buys me a bucket of Roasted Red Pepper and a bucket of Supremely Spicy and I mix them both up in a big Tupperware container. Lasts me about two weeks.

    Sabra is effing delicious.

No smoking this weekend but making smoking hot jelly, damn right!

Yesterday was another pepper harvest. Habanero, Jalapeno and Cayenne.

Last year I made peach/habanero jelly using 3 or 4 Habaneros for a 12+ 1/4 pint batch of jelly. It was really good but not hot enough. Last week I harvested more peppers and upped the pepper count to 10. Tried some of the jelly last evening and its getting just about right but it needed a bit more pepper. So with another pepper harvest in the books yesterday 24 Habaneros were used in this last batch. The jelly smelled great and I can wait until the last little bit sets up to try tomorrow on a PB&J.

Also in the coming weeks going to make some strawberry/Jalapeno with some of the Jalapeños I've been dehydrating and grinding to dust.

In about 2 month my Habanero, jalapeno, cayenne & garlic fermented hot sauce will be ready along with some straight jalapeno fermented hot sauce.

I ate some hummus in Jaffa and it was amazing. And I don’t even like hummus.

Ha, me too, every afternoon/evening I rewatch a couple episodes. Some network runs a two hour block of Fred...

Strange thing is I detest the whole garbanzo/chickepeas but I can and love eating humus. Especially on a warm flatbread. Theres a Greek place in the big town close to us that has the best Greek food.

I missed out on two awesome craigslist deals this weekend :frusty:

The first deal was two full bags and two half bags of kingsford charcoal....for free! I replied 40 minutes after the posting but it was too late. The second deal was a WSM 18.5" with a cover for $100. Pretty bummed about missing both of them.

On the bright side, I grilled an amazing rib eye last night! And the seahawks won. Life ain't all that bad I guess.
