Hi guys, I have a 07 access cab offroad with the rear leaf TSB done.
I just got my new wheels and tires, Nitto Terra Grappler 265/70/17 on XD Addicts 17x9 4.5 offset and -12 Backspace.
The dealer mounted the front and when I turned my wheel the tire rubbed big time on the front part of the fender...
I do plan to lift soon, I was going to go wth Billy 5100's set at 1.75 on stock springs.
Will this fix the problem or do I need to look at another route. I have the wheels off and old ones on till I can put on correctly.
Help! dying to get my new kicks on my truck!
    Thanks in advance!!!

Rubs on the fender flair on the inner most corner. I am sure i can trim it without anyone noticing unless you look for it.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
it's the rim. u can put that tire on a stock sport rim and it will not rub.

Is it just rubbing on that little box tit thing that hangs down in the front of the tire that's part of the fender liner? If so, you can cut the seams of it then fold it up on itself and put a screw thru it with a clip on the top side of it so the fender liner is still structurally intact and it's out of the way of the tire. Mine rubbed there when going to 32's. My rims are 18x9.5 so I'm sure that helped it rub.

    Looking
a stock tire for are trucks is a 265/70/r16 once youve increased your rim to a 17 insted of having a 31.61 you have a 32.83 almost 33 inch tire on stock thats why just get a 2.5 in front spacers and larger leaf springs for the rear and youll clear it only cost 180 to purchase those
