I like manual but sometimes its nice to be lazy with an auto. I'm a bit of a durability snob too though so manual appeals to me there. The new loaner (frame replacement) is an auto of course and it's kind of nice, lazy, you know.

Driving AT work trucks during fire season makes me miss my MT so much. The 6-speed is a dream to drive in the 2’nd gens. Especially if you have the short throw shifter on that bitch.

Stick is great unless you drive in stop and go, have a wife who cannot drive it or go to sell it.

    I do love stick.

MT TRD OR w/ a 6’ bed doesn’t exist in the US anymore so I’d sooner call it a unicorn shitting out a gold mine than say it’d be hard to sell.

I love my manual trans but I live in the country. We got stuck in traffic in Nashville, TN last year and it kind of sucked then. But, it sucked mainly because we were stuck in Nashville.....

I prefer a stick, but drive an auto. One of the main reasons is the goofy emeg. brake location under the dash. It should be between the seats. I dont understand why Toyota has not moved it.
