Nice build, glad toyota improved the 4runner design in the last few years. The offroad models look great

Rig is a bit too heavy to be jumping!

    Kings did great

Thoughts and prayers to all in Vegas. My family was out there with some friends. All are safe that I know of. Very thankful.

I was joking about the jumping part. How often are you adjusting the shocks? I'm deciding on whether I need the adjusters or not.

If you don’t get the adjusters, they are just always set on soft. I notice a difference, but in my opinion, not enough to justify 2-300 dollars extra. I know Jim Bob disagrees though. Maybe depends on the rig.

You’ll be happy with kings pretty much no matter what.

Yeah. I just found out that ADS doesn't offer adjusters or resi for the 4Runner application. It looks like I'll be getting some Kings.

I'm pretty sure ADS has them for the fronts at the least, but I never looked into the rears

Might be the difference. I’m always loaded for a trip so my weight varies as much as ice and food weighs

I just spoke with Brian from ADS. This is what he wrote,
    " Hi Brandon,

At this point in time, I'm not sure. Even without the clicker, I'm sure you would be very pleased with our shocks on your 4-Runner. The front coilovers have an internal floating piston separating the oil and nitrogen. They are not an emulsion shock like most factory units.

These shocks will perform excellent for your application and needs.

    Thank you!"

I was bummed out. I was hoping to go ADS with the adjusters for front and rears. I'm going with Kings for sure now.

Ads makes clickers. They are just saying you’d be happy without them like I said.

If you want ADS with clickers, they will sell them to you.

Okay, I just confirmed that they do have clickers. Their helpdesk gave me wrong information.

Nice. Are you going to build it out or is this a true DD?

Promised fiancée I would not touch anything for at least 6 months. Then I’ll do a new intake and probably not much else aside from cosmetics (wheels).

It already has TRD sway bars, trd filter, trd spoiler. All else I’d want is the exhaust and intake

Man, it's going to be hard to stop because they make some pretty awesome aftermarket stuff for the car. I started dropping hints to my wife about getting a new DD for next year.
