    Oh hell nah

Rice is currently cooking on the stove. Hoping it turns out decent.

Rice failed. Much sadness. Ruined dinner. :(

How do you fail at rice on the stove.

    2:1 water:rice

    2TBps or more of butter
    Bring to mild boil
    reduce to simmer
    cover
    wait 20 mins
    fluff with folk
    enjoy.

We are at a great altitude for making rice. Go up to Flagstaff and even the oldest asian will need a rice maker.

    :(

I did this minus the butter. The bottom half cooked, the top half was crunchy. It was awful.

Wanna dog park tomorrow? I’m trying to make a half assed agenda for the week.

My previous rice cooker was older than me. Acquired in early to mid 1980s and didn’t die until early 2016. I don’t think I’ll see that kind of great appliance ever again.

My house has halloween stuff year round. @XPOTRPR and I spent some time a few years ago making my door to my laundry room a zombie death room type of thing. We love this type of shit. One of the reasons we got married on Halloween.

Had some time today and got some work done in the garage. Its the first phase of the 2 car garage work shop. Have cabinets coming and some shelves to make still. Compressor is hiding behind the truck for now. But my bench grinder and its stand are coming home soon along with a 20 ton hydraulic press.... Vice needs mounted along with top shelf on the work bench up front... But for 1 day a week off if I'm lucky, I'm happy so far....

What're somethings you guys wish you would have done differently in your garages/shops?

Enough room to have a mod party.

Looks good. Plenty of storage options from the beginning is what I would do different. Also adding light and outlets. Throw away shit I don't use/need so it doesn't get cluttered.
