ISn't Asheville a beautiful place! There's alot to do downtown as well. Great pics thanks for posting. How were the camping accomodations for a truck and micro caper? I really want to go next year I don't like the drive down there but really want to go. My FIL lives about 45 minutes south of there in Brevard

It was awesome! I wish I would've had more time to do stuff outside of the Expo tho. Did drive around for a little tho, camping was good if you got there early enough as you could pick where ever you wanted in the designated camping zones

I'm assuming camping there was just a spot in the grass with no power hook ups or anything available. I'm planning on having the electrical sorted by next spring and solar installed but ya never know and I have to have power.

A little inspiration for the next few weeks.

    Win a Cairn Box!

Should’ve done this earlier in the season, but better late than never. Lets get trails cleaned up before the snow gets here this season and covers up the garbage.

What: Over the next three weekends, when you are on the trails, hiking, biking, offroading, climbing, etc, pick up some trash that some dirtbag left behind. On Tuesday, October 24th I’ll randomly select two winners to receive a single Cairn Box, @getcairn with neat outdoor gear.

How: Post the picture on Instagram with the three following rules:
    1. Location
    2. The hashtag #Cleantrails2017
    3. Follow me on Instagram @ aero3685

Each user will receive a single entry but multiple cleanups/posts are always welcome!

When: Before Tuesday, October 24th 2017. I'll randomly select two winners and contact you through IG for shipping address.

Why: Because trails are much more enjoyable when you arent driving past plastic bottles, shotgun shells, and spare tires. And when its already clean, the problem children might think twice about leaving garbage behind next time. Garbage is one reason why trails get shut down for all users. Shout out to a great local small business Odin Designs @odindesigns and odindesigns.com who does contests like this to keep trails open...and inspired this.

Who: Anyone with an Instagram account and who lives in the US or Canada.

I’m currently on a bit of a road trip, and will keep pumping out awesome pictures along the journey! You can follow the trip on Expedition Portal as well:

The camping was great except they parked us in a ditch and you couldn't pick your spot. The showers in the south camping area were low pressure and COLD! Didn't matter as we brought our own solar bag shower and stall but it was worth it. We were there early and spent every day taking classes so didn't get to check out all of the cool vehicles so I really appreciate the pics from other attendees. Plenty of room for your rig and supposed to be a similar set up for next year. Lots of cool folks. Definitely recommend the trip. Fantastic event overall. I see you are in Culpepper? I did some time in Dyke, mostly working in a kitchen but loved that area of VA.
