    It's not a PRO grill, it's a replica.

Wanted a hint of metallic, didn't like the way it looked out the box.

Gotcha, the metallic matches the MGM pretty well.

I really want black headlights to continue the blackout of my truck but $450, I can get a set of fj black trail teams wheels for a little more than that so I personally would wait till more companies are making them and the price comes down, but I do think they look good, post pics if you do buy them.

plenty bring imo, no darker than stock. It is still light outside so its hard to tell, phone cameras don't have the same lighting contrast as a DSLR camera.

Would you be able to switch the bulbs for LEDs?

I would say they are projectors so hid's would be better, most LED's don't work great in projector housings

Thanks. I installed LEDs in my stock headlights, they work just fine. Certainly, some things are better than others, but my question was if the housing would allow for a switch to LED based on the description in post #9, since I already have the LEDs anyways.

I dont want to give the impression these are flawless, my main gripe thus far is the clear plastic is softer than OEM. Also long term I will find out if they get condensation inside. Also bulb change out while mounted may be a hassle.

Yeah, I'm not buying they are bright as stock. The OEM uses precision tuned optics infront of the diodes. These are just LED's behind a frosted panel. Not saying they aren't bright... but not apples to apples.
Also, anything will looks bright at night. I can make my keychain light look like the sun with the right camera exposure.
Enough about that, it's nice to finally see some aftermarket lights hit the market. Great housings to start with as a base to then modify...

Correct me if I'm wrong but could you not just swap out the bulbs? The description said H7 bulbs, I thought stock were H11, even so you could get a cheap HID set from Amazon for about $150. I bought 2 sets of 8k Kensun on a 55W or 60W ballast (low beam and fog) and they are definitely worth the money

    1) I'm referring to the DRLs not the low/high beams
    2) not all HID bulbs and housings work well together. So if a particular bulb works well in your OEM projector, doubt it will be the same in an aftermarket projector.
