So I've got a 95 Tacoma 2.7 4wd and can't seem to get it level. When I got it the back was about 5 inches higher then the front so I got 3 inch leveling spacer for the front shocks but the back still sits noticebly higher. How can I lower the back to level it out. I'm looking for about 1.5 inches of drop. I can't just get a drop block kit online because the leafs sit on the axel. I would like the back to sit about a half inch lower then the front. I'm running 31's with 3.5 inch offsets.Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you've got a 3" lift in the front and the back still sits higher then you have some sort of lift in the rear as well... any idea what mods have been done in the back? Leaf pack, AAL, lift shackles? Depending on what mods have been done will dictate what needs to be done to lower it. Pictures of the rear suspension will help us if you have any.

Here's a pic of it. I'm not sure what has been done to it.

If you need it I can also take a pic of the shackles. Could I gust measure them to see?

Yeah get a measurement of the shackles, pic would be helpful as well. Also you have no bumpstops, may want to look into that to limit uptravel.

And thanks for noticing I have no bump stops! I will certainly get some ordered!

Holy rust! You almost don't have any shackles either! You've got to have some pretty tired coil springs in front to not be level with those springs in the rear - new coils will help a lot most likely. OME makes some that will lift your front.

How much does that bull bar weigh?

Something funky is going on. The bottom leaf spring just above the overload leaf is way too short, and the one above that is thicker than the rest of them. Why is there blue tape on the ends of the leafs?

The shackles look similar to stock, hard to tell. They're about the right length.

I think somebody put together a leaf pack for your truck to give it some lift, may just be way more than it should be.

The frame rust is a bit concerning, make sure you don't have any holes or heavy rust, especially near the front leaf spring hangers.

Yes I live in New York state! The salt is rough on yotas.. so you think the front is just sagging? The rear looks a lot higher then many Tacomas I see. It's hard to tell in this pic I'll have to get another tomorrow

Yes it got a new frame in 1999 but the blue tape is because the leaf clamps rattle but the frame is still very smooth on the inside and has very little rust.

Is it possible and safe to maybe remove a leaf? I don't haul any thing with it. Would that lower it slightly?

You don't have a lot of leafs left to remove. You could remove that short one and see what that does, other than that I would consider getting new leaf packs. Like @Dalandser said, OME kits are pretty decent, and will level it out correctly.

Ok Is there any safety issues or problems that I should know about that could potentially happen?

No, as long as the rust is only surface rust you should be good. Try putting weight in the bed and see how the leafs hold up. Just don't bottom it out with no bumpstops.

So what leaf do I remove? The small one above the over load leaf? It would be the smallest one I have to take out right?

Yeah if you want to experiment with it try taking that short leaf out. You'll only have two main leafs left, so it probably won't hold a lot of weight but you can see how it rides.
