Yeah it was all stupid stuff.. everyone was fine but clearly was just one of those days!

Can't really see it in the pics but it and the ground are completely flat from worn away covering just above where it sparked.

Compressor. It was run along the inside of the wheel tub curve in the bed, plenty of slack but that round 'corner' wore them. Kinda strange.

Yeah, it's going to be a little of a chore to replace the wire since I'll need to pull the compressor since the wires terminate inside the compressor housing... Yay

No pictures of said fire? Haha Sounds like a hell of an offroad adventure. How did someone break a rim?

Lol nope. Could take pictures of the blackened piece of the divider that was above it haha.

Just got new wire to swap it out... Didn't go to an audio shop this time. :frusty:

Rim was bent after a heavy skinny pedal climb up an obstacle... And continued heavy into the rock in the corner of the picture.

Tried to bend it back, must be aluminum, it cracked.

Literal last minute trip to find the sunshine.

    1010172011.jpg

It'll be raining when I get back, great for fixing that wiring. Then I'm thinking south along the coast.

Still working on those details. Plan was originally down to Baja. But may hold off for now to work a little, build another rig and continue later.

Thanks for the kind words. It's been an awesome experience so far and looking forward to making this type of travels more regular.

You'll notice the charred corner where the fire was.

This is the wear spot. Cables wore through the plastic from being on that corner. Not tight, nothing sitting on them. Clearly they sold me crappy stuff.

I pulled the positive right after it happened to be safe but it was running along side the ground.

Lots of fresh snow up by Mt Hood. Duratracs doing awesome on high street pressure with consistent over the slider depths.

    Pics won't load right now.

Went through most of the pictures the other night since i haven't done updates in a quick minute. Was going to write something up tonight to go along with the pictures but i think it's bed time.

I bashed around in the snow all day about 5 miles east of Mt Hood. Lots of deep fresh snow. Also a bunch of low hanging and heavy AF branches that took out my firestik that was on a hood mount.
