    We’re evacuating.

Have friends who have lost homes already.

We’re southbound on 101. All clear for us. Hoping to get with Blake and either find a spot in Marin or my sisters in SF.

Rohnert Park PD saying 60 fires in Sonoma County right now.

I got sent home from work this morning at 2:30 I hadn't even got there yet. They shut highway 70 down south if me and the road around that has a fire and it is closed. I usually go metal detecting on the of days but I'm screwed today. The three places I go for that are in flames.
I really hope everyone is going to make it ok. I hate seeing people losing their homes. Unfortunately in this time of weather hope and prayer is all we can do. Hopes and prayers to those in the line of fire.

Wild night here in northeast santa rosa. Barely escaped with my life as my house at mark west and reibli burned to the ground. The fire was 5 miles away when the wind picked up to 50+mph gusts. Embers raining down and within moments a wall of fire raced up to the front of the house. I got my dog and the clothes on my back and my trusty Tacoma. Drove blind through the zero vis smoke and flames by memory bouncing off mailboxes and ditches....
My lady at work had to drive a patient home from Kaiser in her FJ when they evacuated the hospital.

We are with friends uninjured still shell shocked

We’re good. Didn’t want to go all the way to SF for family and didn’t want to crash in Marin.

So we flipped north and are at my parents in Windsor. All good.

Santa Rosa is getting roasted. I can’t imagine what things will look like in a few days.

I'm a fair distance from most of you guys and will still help out any way I can. Not sure where to start yet. But I'm going to make myself available if help is needed.
