I got ya! Thanks for all the help!

Roughly speaking how much would spindles & coilovers for the front and leafs and the block in the back cost? Roughly this entire 6" lift would coast about what?

What else would I need? Brake lines, etc.?

If you bought spindles new from camburg I believe it's about 900 for spindles and another 70 for extended brake lines which are necessary. Coilovers are roughly about another 800-900. Leafs are roughly about 600. You're gonna need longer shocks in the back to account for the leaf springs as well. I'm not too sure on extended brake lines for the back. Then you should probably add another 1500 or so for new wheels/tires. If you be patient and search multiple sites you can probably find some of the items used and get them cheaper, or hop in some Group Buys when they occur.

I gotta watch the $$$ so for now I could do 4" spindles and a 2" coilover w/o UCAs. That would get me the 6"s so I could go 35s. If I ever wanted to go higher I could put the UCAs in then.

    Please dont thread jack :)

Thanks for the overwhelming help here guys!

Yeah I asked him a ton of questions about his set up and his truck is one that inspired for me. There are a couple others on here running spindles too.

I havent fully done my reasearch on spindles, but i believe that they run about 900 bucks,
with coilovers going from 900-1300, Upper control arms 400-650, so about 2200 for the front

What are most guys changing their gear ratio to with this type of 6" lift and 35s?

re-gearing changes shift points and allows you to regain factory like power and factory like gas mileage, along with that it relieves stress on the transmission from the larger tires

Yeah, I was wondering what the ratio is that most go with when they have this setup. I currently have a 3.73....what would it need to be after the 6" lift and 35"s?

    Thanks!

    Thanks! I checked it.

Could you use spacers on the front with the spindles instead of the coilovers? Would it be the same ride as spacers on the front without spindles?

You could use spacers with spindles however it's probably not gonna ride the same. I never used spacers so I couldn't tell ya how the ride would be but from what I have heard it's not that great. If need be you can buy the spindles first then see if you wanna do the coilovers later on but if you really want that 6" lift you're probably gonna need coilovers.

My guess is the spacers with spindles would ride the same as with spacer and no spindles.
