    Yeah I ripped out most the ac from a parts truck so didn't take photos really. Sorry man. I do remember the compressor being much easier then I thought. Worst part is all the fan belts. Might as well replace em while you're there

    I just replaced, condenser, expansion valve and dryer this summer. It really wasn't bad at all, if you need pics I've got a bunch.

    Making progress. Got the brake lines done, well one left I ran out of NICOPP, e-brake cable, shocks and all the other crap back on and dropped the engine back in this afternoon. Now going to do timing belt, water pump, plugs, wires, headers, exhaust and driveshafts before I put the cab back on.

    CurrentlY installing these.

    :help::help::help::help::help::help::help::help::help:

    The upper ball joint castle nut is giving me fits. I loosened it a bit. Beat the hell out of the arm to pop the joint free. Worked like a charm. Problem is... now the castle nut and the ball joint threads just spin together. I can not loosen it tighten the castle nut. The BJ stud spins freely. Any ideas.

    If anyone esle runs into this, you can cut the BJ boot off and hold the stud with a pair of vise grips. Voila.

    Pleasantly surprised by the amount and condition of the grease in a 17 year old joint.

    Picked up a drivers seat for $40!!
    Is a bench seat and tan but beggars cant be choosers.
    My drivers seat is toast and my center console was missing the lid, so this took care of both.

    Usually you put pressure on it with a crowbar to semi seat the taper again and hit it with an impact. If that doesn’t work I would then bounce the spindle and ball joint up and down with the crow bar and feather the impact in reverse till it caught.

    But like you found out vice grips work as well if you don’t want to save the joint.

    Energy Suspension LCA bushings will be the death of me. Can’t separate the oem washer from the sleeve. It spins loosely but will not pop off! Anybody got suggestions? Half tempted to just throw it back on and order OEM or Whitelines.
