Just ordered my butyl for the back. Should go ahead and order my MLV and the foam too but can't get myself to pull the trigger on those yet

Hey all so I'm just curious I have a similar Molle panel and km wondering where everyone is getting the pouches or bags that mount to the panel I believe @docloco has some really nice ones similar to what I'm looking for.

Well honestly I usually drive with my windows down and music+subs, so I hardly notice it. It is noticeable when I first start the truck up, but I've grown accustomed to it. I actually prefer to hear some engine noise though. It reassures me that everything is running just fine haha

I used reflective double bubble insulation. Worked out really good.

Hey @docloco Dunnop if this is the right place for this or not, Sorry it's late but here's my review of the panel I bought and installed from you.

I received my panel it was shipped in a cardboard sleeve and fortunately the carrier fallowed the "DO NOT BEND" instructions written on the side it arrived in great shape.

My panel was ordered plain aluminum as I didn't trust the powder coat to last in the shipping.

The panel is perfectly machined, unfortunately the panel is PERFECTLY MACHINED!!! Seriously this thing is laser sharp new!

So I'm glad I ordered it bare as I spent about 2-3 hours with a file knocking off the sharp edges from all the holes and the outside. I had concern that the edges, weight of the gear, and vibration of the truck, would lead to cutting through the webbing on my bags etc.

As other have mentioned sound deadening is a MUST!

I painted my panel with Rustoleum Bed Liner spray paint.

When mounting I did ended up having to drill out a few holes to get it to fit, considering how vehicles are glued together in assembly it's not really surprising. The aluminum is very easy to drill out.

I love my rack and have been slowly accumulating and adding Molle gear. Fit is great and versatility is great!

Test fit wit the only holes that lined up bolted.

Lol, kinda, I didn't want logo's showing through my panel, it's a layer of aluminum tape direct to the cleaned bulkhead, then a layer of 1/16 butyl rubber window flashing from home depot, another layer of aluminum tape and then two layers of the same butyl rubber flashing. Cheaper than buying name brand deadening and it's made from butyl rubber like the name brand stuff not tar biased.

    Works quite well actually!
