Wasn't saying you're not allowed to, just I think it's odd that all you post is how much you hate it.

I don't have a trunk on my truck. Maybe thats where you went wrong.

When did all your issues start? You said you are 400 miles out of warranty. How rotten is your frame?

I hope you stick with Toyota and that your current truck is just a lemon.

Sorry to year you ended up with a lemon. That said, I understand why some are complaining here. When my Isuzu I-280 started requiring weekly repairs, I did not troll the Coloradofans forum with hatred and vitriol about the truck. I simply replaced the truck with my new Tacoma, thanked the group for their assistance in helping me troubleshoot some of my trucks issues, and gracefully signed off.

Sorry to hear of your troubles, I have owned 2 lemons, and they really are bad for the wallet, and sanity. I agree with the others who say get rid of it. They conundrum is what do you get to replace it? Ranger is a no go. Colorado is pretty weak. Frontier is worth looking at. Dakota's lately aren't all that great, although they may last a long time. If your fed up, I guess it's a Fronty or bad mileage(F150). And no one aroumd here wants to hear anything but the one sided good experiences.
    Good luck and stay sane....

I disagree. People ask for help with problems all the time in car based forums like this one. Nobody here denies that Toyotas can have issues, and these types of groups are great forums for finding out how others fixed similar problems. Where it gets old, and this goes for all forums and not just here, is when people come in post after post of how horrible carmaker "X" is because they got a bad one. Go to ANY car forum where they have someone doing this, and you'll find the group collectively inviting them to sell their truck and leave.

The reality is that defective products slip through the QC process.

Sorry to hear it. Sucks that you got one of the bad ones. Alot of shit on here has scared the piss out of me about our trucks, but I'm just hoping for the best. Like isthatahemi said, your choices are pretty limited. Hope it all works out for you. Know you've helped me in the past.

If your only 400 miles out of warranty why don't you call ToyotaUSA and tell them whats going on...perhaps they will help since you are not far out of warranty...I mean it doesn't hurt to ask.
