So far as I know all members in burn zone are safe and sound, evac’d or not. @IronPeak lost everything but managed to escape in the nick of time. Posted a few pages back a video and barely got out of the house before it blazed.

I visited my house tonight. It’s good. We have a group of members in that general area and can definitely help coordinate supplies or any aid needed. My house (and most all of our houses) are available as much as we can share.

Fire is far from done and more guys will be effected by this, but so far, most of us in town have fared much better than thousands of others.

So I’m a fan of what the Red Cross does.

They’re national, well organized and willing to be anywhere anytime. Which is what people need/want. Awesome!

When you donate blood they sell it to the person who needs anywhere in the nation. They have the network to do it.

I feel like they get a reputation as a non-profit which I is feels misleading. That’s all.

Once you get past that it’s a capitalist wet dream.

Thanks for the update. @IronPeak holler if you need ANY thing! Just went thru (still going thru) this. Even if just a empathetic ear. I’m here.

Debris removal just wrapped. Team Rubicon coming in to do some hazard tree removal in the coming weeks. Preplanning on having utilities being restored. (Well, septic, electric)

While I don’t like their top-heavy admin costs to run, I will say they were the ONLY organization with boots on the ground helping people during #Detwiler fire. They assisted with temp housing, food, clothing, small amounts of money to buy basics...

I cannot disagree with any of this. Where I struggle is with the idea money is the only way to help. And that fat salary that gets paid out at the top.

    Santa Rosa fire:

Just made the trip up the hill to check on a family members home on Riebli Rd. Had to navigate around roadblocks and twist our way through neighborhoods to get up to the top of the hill. A few other cars trying to do the same and multiple fire trucks checking out the area.

Came to a downed pole and had to pop a few curbs to continue. Whole neighborhoods taken out, but for some hopeful souls there were still quite a few structures standing strong. Ended up getting deep enough in where the risk/reward was no longer there and had to loop back. Very sad situation for all involved.

We went beyond where most civies were aloud to. Exact route was Sleepyhollow, Parker Hill, Fountain Grove, and Thomas Lake Harris. If anyone needs information about neighborhoods along that route feel free to PM.

We’re finally calling it a night.

Evac plans in place if we need to break feet from Windsor for any reason.

    Loaded, and locked and loaded.

Stay safe guys. Keep updating here especially you guys getting into the fire in Solano, Napa, Lake counties.

Much love and appreciation from us in Santa Rosa. TW Brotherhood is real.

TW was very generous to us. Gift cards went a long long way to replacing basics for us. Another big deal, Bed Bath Beyond coupons. I received stacks of them, and I've been using them!

Sorry to hear about all of you guys affected by the fires. Does anyone know anything about the fires around Grass Valley/Beale? I'm currently overseas and just heard that there are fires in that direction.
