After going with @riz_atx the other day my next priority project is OBA, the plan is to use a compressor with a 1-2 gal tank mounted up underneath... gonna be a budget build

edit: that said, now taking suggestions on compressor location, not a lot of room under the hood

Morning all. Picking up the 67 today which I have rightfully named Big Red

 

Pretty truck looks rust free

 

For the most part it is. It's in really good shape, the cab corners are solid, the floors are solid and there is some rust up in the drip rails but thats normal on these trucks. Even my 50 has some rust there.

 

Need more pics. I wanna see everything. Great looking truck. I can see it with a blower sticking out the hood and face slammed to the ground.

 

I'll post some tonight when I get it but Cayla is going to do a photoshoot of the truck on Devils backbone so you can see how it really looks The interior is rough and I'll need your help to weld in a patch panel to fix the center dash where the radio is. Looks like they cut it out a little so the radio isnt going to fit right.

 

I'll get my skinny wire rolled in for that. Was watching some truck restore show where they rolled n cut the sheet metal, stitch welded it in, then sealed it with something like construction adhesive.

 

@Phoosa, I have a question about Black Gap WPA. Are the trails/roads marked?
I was looking at the map you gave me and also Google maps but didn't see any trail names/numbers.
