If I ad to guess its more about volume and maintaining speed of service. I'm sure the service shop would take up expensive space in their CA location. If they aren't constantly servicing shocks that space could be better spent in product development or supply. Also customers get pissed if it takes too long and if they do one shock a day and then 20 sets come on one week they are gonna have 19 annoyed customers.

It's probably a smart strategic move by them IMHO. Small businesses need to stay focused.

Iggys good, his phone has no cell reception. He’s refraining from using his Sat phone in case he needs it for an emergency. I was trying to talk to him on HAM with a repeater but think it was operator error on my end. But yeah like @Bentrodder said he’s good, he was more worried about everyone else.

He’s heading out up to Redding to stay with family. They want to get out of the smoke since its making it tough to breath.

Will have to confirm with the wife but if anyone has lost their place or can’t stay in there’s, we will be out of town Thursday to Tuesday if you want to stay at our place. I’m way down here but a mini vacation in all this mess. Just have to take care of the chickens and guinea pigs....haha
