    I bought these a few months ago before the group buy. I dont regret it! One of my best mods! I paid $99 for the plus ones and would highly recommend it! Just remember to measure twice, 3 times, 4 times, etc. before drilling..... I also bought some WD40 rust inhibitor from Home Depot and sprayed the drilled holes since the rivets scraped off the touch up paint I used to cover the bare metal. I also re-sprayed the WD-40 again last week for good measure.

    is there any mechanical difference between the elite and the Plus or is it just (stainless vs painted) and color preference...

    Does anyone know if these will interfere with a slee dual air compressor mount on the passenger side since it attaches to the side right there where these might be installed. Or an Spod setup on the driver side?

    I’ll try and grab some better pictures in a bit other than what I already posted that show the mounting spots. On the lower mounts you have to remove the black plastic that runs along the fender (3-4 clips) to expose the metal you drill and rivet so it’s mostly out of the way. I believe it misses where people usually mount compressors on the passenger side from what I was looking at (I plan on doing that or a dual battery there eventually), and on the driver side I have a “Power Trays” mount with 2 blue sea bus bars and it just barely misses that.

    No difference, they function exactly the same. The difference is the material of the gas spring and warranty.
