I'm in Redding too. Pretty smoky up here but no fires close. At least and hour & 1/2 away in Butte county. Here is the sun from this morning's smoky skies.

I mean technically its rated higher than factor 55 at 17k compared to 16k. Im not worried about pitch forks, im concerned with my wallet lol

Which is why I didn't just order it and was curious if anyone else was running it. From an engineering standpoint though, it would be hard to mess something like that up.

    ...too much shit to list.
Actually it's not as hard as you think. Chinese metal is not the same as American. There used to be a whole thread on pirate showing the difference. American HREW was stronger than Chinese DOM. I wouldn't put it past them to have shittier 6061.

Factor 55 sells blems and prototype colors all the time for awesome prices. Call them up and ask. They also sell them a lot cheaper if you go to any of the events they sponsor. Last time I was at the ultra 4 races selling the flat link for 30% off retail.

I personally have had a shittybilt winch crap out on me on the trail. No bueno. Since then I no longer run any of their stuff. Yea its cheap, but when you need it most, you want to make sure it works without any problems.

    I appreciate the objective comment.

Im not in a rush either way, I was more or less seeing if anyone had experience with it. They both state 6061-T6. Thanks for the information about the events and prototyped colors.

In case you guys have a Ram and have a catalyst converter recall. Make sure you get a "special tag" from the dealer. At the DMV waisted an hour and a half to get my tags to not get my tags. By the way fuck San Leandro Dodge! Like the 5th problem I've had with them.
