Heavy load till Friday.

I did a bathroom re-model over the weekend, and all the debris is sitting in the back of my Sport double cab. I wont have time till Friday to bring it to the transfer station and dump it, so the truck is stitting in my garage. By how low the back end look I can tell its pretty heavy.

It wont hurt anything having the springs / shocks compressed sitting there for a week will it? Its not like I'm driving it around.

 

if your worried about it just lift it up with a jack and put some jack stands under the frame to keep the weight off the suspension. my guess is you would be ok leaving it that way though.

 

If you haven't had the rear leaf TSB done, now's your chance.

 

yup, go and see if you're close to hitting the bump stops. If you are, take it to the dealer and complain of a harsh ride while under load.

 

You should be fine, but if it makes you feel better, you can support it like mtnbiker said.

 

But if I get the TSB done, then wont I have a harsh ride when NOT under load?

 

I had the spring TSB done 2 or 3 weeks ago on my 2010 trd sport. I havent had a chance to load my quad in it yet, but I find the truck rides much better now unloaded than it did new. T
