My RPM and speedometer gauge lights have gone out. I tried changing the fuse and that didn't fix it. I tried disconnecting my trailer light harness (as suggested in another post could be causing a short) and that didn't work. I'm thinking maybe it's just the bulb is out? If so is it difficult to access the bulb? Any other suggestions? It's a 2001 Tacoma Prerunner.

I thought this happened to me once and then I realized that I had accidentally turned the dimmer knob all the way down when I was cleaning my dash...have you checked that?

I'd double check that the new fuse is good and then change out the bulbs.

it looks like power comes in on the tail light fuse and uses the rheostat for ground.

pulling the dash is really easy, you only need a screw driver, maybe a trim tool.

    Who hasn't done that lol.

Might want to check any fuses for the dash in the interior or engine bay - only went through them once myself so I can't remember what's all on there. If you do need to rip your dash apart this should be pretty similar to yours even though it's a 4Runner:

yeah but it took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out that it was just the dimmer knob, lol

If they're all out I would assume not the bulbs. Start going through the fuses. If you have a multimeter, only takes a few minutes. Just test the continuity on the fuses via the exposed metal on the top of each fuse.
