On skyline? Not really anything good. If you go into front royal, the best burger I've had in my life was at Spelunkers.

Too true. Too bad it isn't my Friday off week as well. Oh well, I'll have to suffer through 4 day work weeks until Dec. :pout:

    Gotta love IT.

I hope this humidity goes away. Its October, not August. I cant even go on my lunch walks without being offensive to others nostrils afterwards.

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
So... Looking for advice... Time for tires. What's your favorite All Terrain tire? I commute 45 miles each way, so they will spend a LOT of time on the highway... Rain, snow... etc.

But I also want them to be capable off-road...

Cooper ST Maxx. A little heavy but great off road capability with good highway manners. I have 35,000 miles on mine and last time I got them rotated they still had 11/32 worth of tread.

IMO the maxx are a bit too aggressive for that much commuting. I'd go for something more like the general grabber at2

I would have to agree 45 each way is probably a little much for the Maxx. Misread, sorry.

Another popular option is the Cooper at3. Very good road characteristics. What kind of wheeling are you planning on? If just real mild stuff, I'd stick with P load (or standard load, same thing).

Been sort of leaning towards the KO2s. But read that they are a little slick in heavy rain... Did you find that to be the case?

I would like to do Roush Creek... Flagpole (again)... And some VERY off road (no real trails) stuff up in WV where by brother takes his side-by-side...

What is everyone opinion on the KO2's. I ran the K0's for the longest time and just didn't seem to get the tread life I expected. (and I rotated regularly)

I originally ran them at like 38psi and noticed it a little.....

went down to 34 and they did a lot better for some reason

I've been using Revo2s for a while, happy all around except the sidewalls are fragile.

I've got Durataks on order, supposed to be one of the best all around truck tires. We'll see in the spring.

I've been through a couple sets of Michelin AT tires that I really liked. I'm on Nitto tires now, and the wet traction is garbage. I'm thinking of trying the Falkens when these wear out, and I go up in size.
