That sounds like more of a transmission issue than a tune. Valve body issue, solenoid (of many) issue, fluid level, or some other physical component not being happy. I don't think many have reported this.

Nope, its a specific load scenario that seems to only happen on a couple places in my neighborhood where I have to make a slow 90 degree turn at an intersection up a hill. Going just the right speed, coasting to the stop and then applying throttle while turning going up the hill, it feels like it kicks it down into first since the throttle is more sensitive and it's seeing a higher torque demand. Previously, that torque demand was lower so it would just roll through into power up the hill. I'm not sure if it's a matter of downshifting to first instead of second, or if TC kicks on more aggressively or what...it's just a harsher kick now.

I can avoid it if I get really cautious on how much throttle I give it so it's not really a big deal. It was unsettling at first after the reflash when I wasn't at all expecting it, and I'm still not fully acclimated to the new throttle needs so I may simply get used to how much throttle I should be applying to avoid it...time will tell.

So is 1.02C for the ECU and the A for the TCU? Am I following this correctly?

Also, is the general concensus to run with ECT 'on' even after flashing to whichever prefers tune?

Sorry, I've been trying to follow but it's tough with the amount of traffic this thread sees.

No, they are all ECU maps. The ECU controls shift points. TCU has more to do with the physical operation of the transmission like line pressures, delays, etc.

ECT on was what I preferred prior to 1.02C maps. Now I have no impulse to use it.

I've had similar experience coming out of a slow turn as well, where the truck wants to downshift all the way to 1st, when 2nd would do just fine. As a result, it will downshift to 1st, RPM kicks up quickly and I look like an idiot trying to get the truck to shift to 2nd

edit: This is with 1.02C (A), I have not try B or C.

Oh I know exactly what youre talking about. It isn't as pronounced stock but it does it with stock tune as well if you go slow enough.

I handle it by just controlling my speed better, but I really don't care what gear it wants when I'm going that slow.

About a month. I ordered right as stock ran out. I’m in no rush because I’ve been waiting for the 87 tune anyway. Matt said earlier in the thread orders should be caught up now with this shipment and he would have inventory waiting for new orders

I purchased Sept 5th. I just meant it was that much closer to "getting it" (delivered to my door). I got the shipping notification today.
