    No.

On a side note, I hate Android 8.0. My phone is so buggy even after a factory reset. I think I'm going to roll it back today.

Good to know. I'm still on 7.1.2. Seems like devs finally caught up to Nougat, and then Oreo gets released.

From what's been happening to my phone I wouldn't jump to 8 yet. Screen rotation gets stuck, a lot. I loose phone signal/LTE, a lot. I have to reboot to keep it running smooth, A LOT. And a lot of apps are just not working right with 8.0 yet. Finger print reader used to be flawless and now it's a pain in the ass to use. Plus I think the UI is ugly but that's something I can fix.

As I was typing this I went to unlock it to check on something, it got stuck, then fully rebooted....

My rotation gets stuck now. Google probably rushed it for the Pixel 2

So I found my rotation was stuck due to an app that wasn't updated correctly (IpCamViewerPro). If I viewed the app in landscape and didn't exit but just went to another app or home it would sometimes hang causing all apps to do that. After he fixed it the issue rarely happened to me, until 8.0. Check to see what apps are open when it does that and it might be one of the ones you use a lot triggering it.

Didn't your phone drop in the ocean the other week? How's that working out?

Headphone jack registered as plugged in for a couple hours, but went back to normal later. Phone still seems the work well. My M8 did the same when it got wet.

I think starting around the M10 or whatever they called it, HTC started to get more minimal with their software.

I wish they'd allow me to just fully remove their software. That's one of the main reasons I loved the Pixel. No bloat.

I know some people hate the Samsung Touchwiz overlay, I actually like it. I have vowed to stay unlocked to avoid carrier bloatware which is worse than brand overlays. My S8 is unlocked and it is a perfect phone in my opinion. Love this damn thing!

I'm glad the good phones aren't carrier specific anymore. I still root my phones, but I don't bother flashing Roms anymore. Just a few tweaks to the factory Rom and call it a day.

No one ever buys them out right, just like everything else in the US, it's all financed. I'm on the AT&T next program, $40 a month and get a new phone every year :notsure:

But when we go wheeling in Sedona, I'll let you check it out

Can't do iPhones. I don't see the point to pay for the exact same features as you had on the last 7 variations of the phone. iOS hasn't changed much (at all) until 11 dropped and 11 is buggy as fuuuuuck. Apple is known for "lets push out a new OS!" Then 3 days later "Oh fuck there is major secuirty bugs and flaws, lets push out an update!"... A week later "Oh fuck guess what, more bugs and flawas. We should of tested, Nah, let the customers do it. Push out another update!"

I mean iOS 11 hasn't been out very long and I already have 3 tablets running iOS 11.0.4 (Beta Version 5). Why the fuck do you need 4 patches (and a 5th coming out soon) for an OS that was released Sept 19th?

    iPhones. Great hardware, bullshit software.
