I have a 2015 so I spend most of my time on the 2nd Gen page but I know you all will have valuable input. I really like the looks and performance of Gen 1, so.........
I have an opportunity to buy a stock (no mods), pretty decent shape, 2003 TRD Off Road, 4 door, with about 165,000 miles. Regular mtce has been performed. I can get it for $10,000 but I know it needs tires and suspension. The rear bumper will need to be replaced soon also as well as the radio/media system (optional). All these things to be replaced is fine as I would want to get it to my liking. My question: Is $10k a reasonable price? Thank you for any feedback.

    I use these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/28195715667...38.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&rmvSB=true

Super bright. I've had them for over a year. They are big at 5''...but they are great.

That's about what it is in California. I saw a 02 prerunner at the dealer with 235,000+ for 10k.

10 is a bit high, but in CO I'm thinking that's probably about right.

Got my (many-years-old) Badlands Bumper back from Portland Powdercoating and onto the truck. Looks like new. Chicken for scale.

    Replacing the outer tie rods.
    Replacing the steering rack:
Press on brakes, truck turns right, I automatically correct, the rack shifts back to normal, I have to auto correct again. Shit happens in less than a second = instant pucker factor with lift and tires and not so great brakes...

If the water pump, timing belt and such are current that’s a fair price. I paid $8k for my ‘02 in MS. Check the frame for rust...valve covers for leaks, and O2’s.
    Good luck

@The Bob check the recalled LBJ’s to.
