Do you know how big implications of something like that are though, honestly. It means we could travel to the future. Of course we could never go to the past according to the theory of special relativity. If we could make a wormhole here and put the exit in the future though future humans (if they found a way to survive the radiation) could travel back to us

I visited Sagittarius A, the super massive black hole at the center of the Milky Way, a couple months ago. I have to say, I was a little underwhelmed. It really wasn’t worth the 25k+ light year journey in my Anaconda. At around 50 Light Years a jump, it took awhile.

    Anyways, here’s a couple pictures I took:

Edit: if you ever make it out that way, do not fly into Sagittarius A. I didn’t, but I know those who have. Apparently it will fuck your world up royally.

Definitely would be enlightened, especially around the event horizon where light is being captured and you’re still alive

A 500 word 1 page article on the web doesn't even scratch the surface of the science (theoretical or otherwise) behind a black hole.

We still have a lot to learn about black holes, ever wonder just how dense a black hole can get?

I just had a thought. Space is expanding at an accelerating rate, and scientists don’t know what’s causing this. The theory that space will stop expanding and collapse on itself into a massive black hole has been marked down in reputability because of this, but should it be? It seems, to me at least, before we can discount the notion we must first understand why the expansion of the universe is accelerating. One theory I have is where the universe’s expansion has not hit yet is filled with dark matter, if this was the case then that would explain the acceleration of the expansion of the universe. As the universe becomes more spread out, it is losing density. Dark matter has been known to have gravitational effects, and is also not visible via electromagnetic radiation (like light). What if as the universe becomes less dense dark matter has a stronger effect on it causing more exponential acceleration of the universe. But what happens when the universe can no longer be spread out any more? If this is the case the gravitational death of the universe into a single singularity could be possible, forming another big bang
