This is probably one of the best suggestions, when I lift or lower a vehicle I put the stock tires and wheels back on for a test drive to make sure that I don't have any strange vibrations or noises before I run new tire/wheel set up.

My 3rd gen (DCLB Sport 4x4) with stock wheels and tires is going into the dealer on Thursday because it shakes/vibrates so much at around 100-110 km/hr which is pretty well standard highway speed in my parts (posted limit is 90km/hr). This has been going on for a few thousand km's and I am at a total of 11,200 now, no mods. It is incredibly annoying.

    None as of yet
Please post if they figure anything out, as I've said mine has it on stock wheels and it's worse on aftermarket wheels. Dealer blamed my aftermarket wheels so I took it in on my stock wheels and they claimed they couldn't feel anything.

They seem to always find a way not to replicate the issue haha. Ill keep ya posted for sure. It seems like from what I have read there could be a number of possible reasons behind the vibration as it does this as well when I brake.

EVERYTHING that spins can produce vibrations. Most of them are from wheels, tires and drive shafts since is long and heavy and spins a lot...FAST.
If you eliminated the wheels/tires, the next step is to check the balance and angle of the drive shaft(s).
    - check the angle of the middle U-Joint and the diff U-Joint (must be the same)
    - get a dial indicator with a magnet base, lift the back of the truck (choke front wheels) and check the shafts run offs by spinning the back wheels by hand (not more than 0.001")
    - remove the shafts and take them to a shop to be put in a lathe at low speed to check for run off.
If you find the drive shafts to be out of balance, ask the dealer to replace the drive shaft(s) with one that has a certificate of balance (good luck) or stop chasing that problem and get a double cardan one piece shaft.

I didn't see if it was mentioned but what type of tires?
Tires can play a big part in it even if they are balanced fine. Mud terrain for instance can cause a vibration at speed. i know you said you'res are A/T but some pretty aggressive ATs can feel like a MT

It could just be the tire itself and not actually out of balance.
Could be a bad wheel even, a bend in the wheel can make it feel like its a balance issue but without looking at it spin closely sometimes its hard to notice.

I've had it plenty of times on my jetta having low profile tires and what not.
Although unlikely for the taco still a possibility.

    Also try a different dealer?
Some dealers are just cunts and don't want to do anything. I've found the smaller dealers are a bit more helpful as they seem to rely on pleased customers for recurring business than just the lot of camry and corolla drivers lol. At least in my experience with my truck its been that way. Local dealer are useless fucks and dismiss everything as normal or can't replicate symptoms. Meanwhile drive about 20miles out of town into the more rural portion and the dealers are much more helpful. Hell they even told me with a lot of the stuff I've done it can void warranty but they'll still work with me to an extent

maybe you need a roadforce tire balance. or maybe your drive shaft is out of balance...try different dealers, talk to different mechanics.

Interesting video. Were you able to take the video into the dealership and have them correct the vibration problem as shown?

Not my video or problem, posted as reference for taco owners that have vibrations and can not find the cause.

Sorry for the late update, forgot :S It was all thanks to poorly balanced factory wheels & tires. Had new tires put on and properly balanced, vibrations gone.

I have this same issue. On stock tires and on new general grabbers. I have had my tires balanced multiple times. I may get rid of the truck as a result. TRD Sport with 43k. Stock except for wheels and tires.

Is there one master thread for this issue? I'm searching to see if anyone has found the cause and I've seen a few different threads describing the issue.

Is your drive shaft (propeller) balanced? If not it can induce a lot of vibrations.
Get a camera (phone) rigged below the truck and shoot video of the shaft turning. You may be surprised.

I have the same issue with vibration since new. Purchased the Taco end of Aug 2017 TRD Sport 4x4 - double cab 4 door and now I have 20,000 Km or 12 500 miles. I'm in Canada --- I have had the truck in to Toyota 5 times, they keep screwing around with it and saying its ok your all good we got it fixed. Not really, and as you are well aware this is a pain in the butt.
Vibration happens only on the highway at 110 km or 60 mph. to 130 km or 80 mph and higher.

They have turned my my rear drums thinking they were out of round
They have force balanced my factory tires and rims
They have force balanced my winter tires and rims
They have changed the drive shaft with the parts truck they have
Now I have been waiting for some kit that has leaf springs and rubber pucks to change out for 6 weeks now ( back ordered ) hopefully this fixes it.

Has anyone found anything that fixes this?
