A method I use is to spray the can directly on a sponge and then dab the sponge on the desired area. This eliminates the need to tape off the vehicle, eliminates overspray issues, won't pool, etc. If you want to apply multiple applications quicker, use a hair dryer, then apply additional coats.

I used the same stuff on my Gen 1. As with most any spray paint multiple light coats provide a superior result to heavy coats.

Prep well, once dry it bonds well and is very dificult to remove with mechanical means (sanding or scraping). Looks good a wears well.

I did my flairs, mirrors and bumper trim with it and it showed no wear problems after 2 years. Looked great with almost no fade after car washes, a few tropical storms, Florida sun, and who knows how many bugs, rocks and other debris hit they sustained.

I bought this TechStream cable from Amazon and pulled the newer software from here. I've heard Carista could do it, but this can get pull all sorts of graphs and nerdy stuff.

I am curoious about this, although the shifts havent bothered me much. How has the tune effected MPGs? Any expected issues with warranty work down the road if Toyota notices the "tune"?
