    Mine came with longer bolts. I don't remember how long. (1" longer than stock lol, but I don't remember the length of the stock ones.)

    Edit**** If you don't use the diff drop, you won't even disturb the original bolts. You only need longer bolts if you go with it.

    I'd call that a yes... damn I don't have the oem bolts.

    I let a shop do the toytec lift. I've since upgraded to kings and installed them myself. Learning to work on my own truck from now on.

    Like I mentioned in #44, I've upgraded to kings (extended travel 3") ... but still have the toytec diff drop in there.

    So how many threads did you crank it up to for 3"? Even King says optimal is 2.5"

    It was 10-11 threads. Measures 24" from center hub. Stock is 21", correct?

    Ya stock is 21" 10-11 threads sounds right, im assuming 600# springs, no bumper?

    When I put mine on, the instructions were written around a Gen II, which while the components are the same, the stock lift height between a Gen II and a Gen III isn't. What I did was set the back where it was with my AAL and measured it, then adjusted the front to equal the height - so it rode level. I thought it was like 5 turns equals 1 inch.

    I believe it. Probably an inch-worth's. I was trying to match the height of the back with my AAL. I think the King documentation being written around a Gen II is different than the reality of a Gen III if that makes any sense.

    I swear, it rides like a dream. About the only time it's an issue is sometimes on the freeway when there's washboard wear (91 freeway near Riverside).

    That's hardly any angle at all. You should see how bad it was on my old 2001 Tundra that was up 3" in the front. That thing ate ball joints and cv boots yearly.
