    Just a bunch of old crap
    And that's why you hire more people so you can build more product faster and make more money. It's simple math. Or, give customers real lead-time expectations. A sale in Thanksgiving 2016 means you were well aware of falling behind, so an order placed in February should have received a much more honest lead time. Instead of trying not to lose orders, you chose to frustrate a customer. That's why companies like @Pelfreybilt are growing exponentially.

    Timing belt has not been touched. What does that entail for a DIY?

    It does have some rust on the frame. It was raised in Nebraska. Do you just tap with hammer to determine the extent? thanks man

    @mechanicjon can you weigh-in

    @The Bob I replaced mine along with water pump, thermostat belts and such. I took my time and relied on TW and you tube for advise. I have pictures somewhere on TW about replacing it.

    A lot of people change motor oil, air filter, tires and consider the maintenance up to speed. Toyota has a maintenance schedule to follow...

    Finally upgraded to Kings a couple weeks ago, took another week to figure out how to adjust them while on the truck (UCA was in the way) but I finally got her leveled out

    (yes, my SPC balljoints are covered in grease...I over greased them last time and the old stuff is leaking out the bottom).

    Honestly, it's pretty stiff lol. But I was sort of expecting that because these are on 600lb springs and I have no added front weight (yet). My previous setup was 881s which were 500lbs, they rode nice but I couldn't add any weight to those without sag. I suspect the ride on these Kings will get softer when I put my Budbilt skids on, they're heavy AF. Eventually a front bumper too.

    Also, I haven't upgraded my rears yet (still 5100s) so anything I do to the front won't shine much until the rear gets done as well. About to pull the trigger on some Icons I found a good deal on.

    recalled lower ball joints. The LBJ's on 1st gens is a notoriously weak design; there were a couple years of 1st gens that had them recalled due to a manufacturing defect that made them even more prone to failure than they already are.

    Shouldn't have punctured it then, don't blame the truck.
